2. Mild Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, or fabric softeners, which can weaken natural linen fibers.
3. Water Temperature: Wash in cold or lukewarm water (at or below 40°C / 104°F). Hot water may cause unwanted shrinkage or color fading.
4. Gentle Cycle: Select a delicate or gentle cycle on your washing machine to minimize fiber friction.
5. Do Not Overload: Fill the machine to a maximum of 75% capacity to allow the linen to move freely.
6. Air Drying: Hang your linen to air dry in the shade. This is the gentlest method and keeps wrinkles to a minimum.
7. Tumble Dry with Caution: If using a dryer, use the lowest heat setting and remove the fabric while still slightly damp.
8. Ironing: Iron while slightly damp on the wrong (reverse) side of the fabric using a hot iron setting.
